When you join us in Endicott, NY , you'll earn $15.50 to $20.00/hour . We'll support your professional development and provide further education to help you earn licenses . QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

• Professional animal care experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED:

• Customer service experience
• Proficient computer skills

While we appreciate the love and care you show your own pets, it's not a replacement for veterinary experience. We're looking for someone who has previously worked in a professional animal care facility.

WHAT TO EXPECT AS A VET ASSISTANT

You'll play an important part in our day-to-day veterinary care, working closely with your team and following directions to make every day a great one. Here's a brief view of what your responsibilities include:

• Animal husbandry - take care of the pets' basic needs
• Pet handling - safely transport pets and restrain them as needed for procedures
• Record keeping - maintain veterinary documents and treatment records
• Communication - politely and professionally engage with pet owners and team members
• Veterinary support - assist team with other duties as assigned
