Little Creek Casino Resort Guest Services Team Member

As a key member of our guest services team, you'll provide a warm welcome and seamless arrival experience for our guests. In this role you will safely drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles to the designated parking areas for Casino patrons, deliver vehicles promptly to customers when requested, and remain courteous to patrons at all times. Essential Duties:

  1. Promotes positive patron relations by displaying prompt, safe, courteous and efficient services to patrons. Greet customers as they exit and enter the Casino, and assists handicapped patrons as needed.
  2. Treats customers with ultimate respect and courtesy at all times.
  3. Maintains updated knowledge of event information and imparts that knowledge to customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
  4. Receives, parks, and returns patrons' automobiles in designated valet parking area. Must be licensed to operate and have experience operating both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  5. Places numbered tag on windshield of automobile to be parked and hands customer similar tag to be used later in locating parked automobile.
  6. Records valet ticket and drives automobile to parking space, or points out parking space for customer's use.
  7. Takes numbered tag from customer, locates automobile, and surrenders it to customer, or directs customer to parked automobile.
  8. Remains alert while operating vehicles to ensure the safety of customers, fellow employees, and other pedestrians.
  9. Adheres to the "stop-look-listen-proceed" rule of crossing traffic when retrieving or operating vehicles.
  10. Promptly reports all accidents and suspicious activity to first to security and then to the designated supervisor on duty. Monitors parking areas to prevent theft of and from parked vehicles.
  11. Maintains valet area in a clean, presentable manner, including but not limited to shoveling snow in inclement weather.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three months related experience and/or training.
  • OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
