Position Title: Upper School Entrepreneurial Leadership Program Intern (Unpaid)

Location: Franklin Road Academy, Nashville, Tennessee

Time Commitment: 4-6 hours/week | Semester or Full-Year Commitment

Overview:

Are you passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and empowering the next generation of changemakers? Join our dynamic team as an Entrepreneurship Intern supporting the high school Incubator and Accelerator programs. This internship offers hands-on experience in education, business development, and classroom facilitation, ideal for college students, aspiring educators, or entrepreneurs seeking real-world experience in entrepreneurship youth programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom instruction and student-led business ventures
  • Assist with project-based learning activities
  • Help manage pitch competition logistics and guest speaker sessions
  • Organize and manage communication with team mentors
  • Provide one-on-one mentoring and feedback to student teams
  • Organize classroom materials, maintain Trello boards, and track student progress
  • Capture highlights and document student learning for program reports

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate student pursuing a degree in education, business, social innovation, or a related field
  • Strong interest in entrepreneurship, education, or youth development
  • Reliable, proactive, and collaborative with strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Experience with Google Suite, Canva, Trello, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Prior experience working with high school students or in experiential learning environments is highly desirable
