\n \n\n \nThe community you'll be caring for : AdventHealth Riverview
\n \n\n \nAdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024
\n \nThe new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.
\n \nThis $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.
\n \nAdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and womens care.
\n \n\n \nThe role you'll contribute :
\n \n\n \nPerforms diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures. Maintains records of examinations performed. Obtains and documents patient clinical information as needed. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Assists in radiology department as needed. Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies
\n \n\n \nThe value you'll bring to the team :
\n \n\n \nMaintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
\n \nExplains procedures to patients, ensuring comfort, cooperation, and privacy throughout the exam.
\n \nPerforms high-quality examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
\n \nPositions patients accurately and comfortably, using immobilization devices when necessary.
\n \nCollaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \nThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :
\n \n\n \nBasic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
\n \nAmer Reg Diag Med Sonography (ARDMS) Required
\n \nRegistered Technologist - Sonography (RTS) Required
