TravelNurseNetwork is working with Infojini Healthcare to find a qualified Postpartum RN in Brooklyn, Maryland, 21225!Pay Information$1,788 per weekAbout The PositionID: 55386848 Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Description: Cross posting of JOB ID : 2942403High Risk Postpartum RN Virtual 5x8 DaysThis Position will be for all of Maryland, not only Medstar Harbor. 2 years recent postpartum nursing experience; high risk experience preferred.2.Current and unencumbered MD RN license or compact.Primary Role ResponsibilitiesThe individual in this role assesses the birthing parents of a newborn born from a high-risk pregnancy through timely, compassionate, and clinically sound assessment and guidance. Key responsibilities evaluate patient status over the phone by gathering relevant clinical information, interpreting symptoms, and identifying concerning trends.2.Demonstrate the ability to recognize post-birth warning signs and differentiate between normal recovery, urgent concerns, and emergent situations requiring immediate escalation.3.Provide clear, empathetic, and evidence-based education regarding postpartum health, potential complications, and when to seek additional care.4.Utilize strong communication skills to ensure patients feel heard, supported, and well-informed. Apply critical language to convey urgency when appropriate and facilitate prompt care coordination.5.Accurately and thoroughly document assessments, findings, and clinical decision-making in accordance with organizational standards.6.Navigate and respond to a wide range of patient needs with sensitivity and professionalism, while integrating entity- and clinic-specific protocols into patient guidance.
