heater/Dance Teacher (Ages 2–12) – September Start McLean, VA | Part-Time | Starting at $17-25/hour (based on experience) Position begins September 2025 About Us: The T.E.A. Center is an innovative and nurturing early childhood and youth enrichment center in McLean, VA. We believe in empowering young minds through creativity, movement, and expression. We are excited to expand our performing arts offerings and are looking for a passionate Theater/Dance Teacher to lead fun, imaginative classes for children ages 2–12 starting this September. Position Summary: The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a love for teaching children. You’ll lead engaging theater and dance enrichment classes that foster confidence, coordination, self-expression, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: Plan and teach weekly theater and/or dance classes tailored to children ages 2–12. Incorporate movement, basic choreography, dramatic play, and storytelling. Foster a supportive and inclusive space for children to express themselves. Prepare short performances or showcases as appropriate. Collaborate with other enrichment teachers and center staff. Maintain a safe, organized classroom and monitor children's participation and progress. Qualifications: Experience in dance, musical theater, drama, or early childhood arts education. Prior experience working with children ages 2–12 strongly preferred. Positive, energetic, and encouraging personality. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare center requirements. Bonus: Background in education, choreography, or theater production.
