Job Description: Teleradiologist Scheduler
Position Title: Teleradiologist Scheduler
Reports To: Director of Operations
Location: Hybrid (On-site in Chesterfield, MO)
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time
Position Summary The Teleradiologist Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing scheduling activities for teleradiologists to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate radiology coverage for client hospitals and private imaging centers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple schedules while maintaining clear communication with physicians and clients.
Key Responsibilities • Develop, update, and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for teleradiologists, ensuring adequate coverage for all contracted facilities
• Communicate scheduling assignments and updates to radiologists and relevant team members in a timely manner
• Monitor incoming requests for coverage and adjust schedules as needed to meet client and patient demands
• Coordinate radiologist availability, vacation requests, and on-call shifts while balancing workload across the team
• Serve as the primary point of contact for radiologists regarding scheduling questions, conflicts, and changes
• Collaborate with operations and medical leadership to address staffing needs, coverage gaps, or workflow challenges
• Maintain accurate documentation of schedules, shift changes, and physician availability in scheduling software or internal systems
• Provide after-hours or weekend scheduling support as needed
Qualifications
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in medical scheduling; preferably radiology or teleradiology
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, and/or EMR systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Preferred: • Experience scheduling physicians
• Knowledge of radiology workflows, terminology, and credentialing requirements
• Prior experience in a remote/virtual healthcare operations role

Work Environment & Schedule • Primarily remote with an office located in Chesterfield, MO
