Position Summary: Tact Tech Security Solutions is seeking professional, reliable, and customer-service-oriented individuals to join our
Event Staffing Team . As part of our event security personnel, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment at a variety of public and private events, including concerts, festivals, corporate gatherings, sporting events, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and screen guests upon entry, ensuring compliance with event and security protocols.
- Monitor crowd activity to identify and respond to potential security concerns or disturbances.
- Assist in directing foot traffic, managing lines, and enforcing access control at designated entry and exit points.
- Conduct bag checks, metal detection screening, and other security measures as required.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, or medical situations in accordance with Tact Tech protocols.
- Provide information and customer service to attendees while maintaining a visible and professional security presence.
- Complete incident reports and communicate relevant updates to supervisors and law enforcement, if needed.
- Ensure all event areas remain secure and hazard-free throughout the event duration.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience in event staffing, crowd control, or security preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks, including walking and directing crowds.
Preferred Skills:
- CPR/First Aid Certification (a plus).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other) is a plus.
- Familiarity with two-way radios and incident documentation.
- Possession of a valid Florida Class D Security License (or ability to obtain prior to employment) is highly recommended but not required.
