As a
K-8school-based Special Education Teacher in
Lancaster, CA ,
your days will include
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals.
- Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet student needs.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive behavioral supports and interventions.
- Collaborate with related service providers, general education teachers, and families.
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and parent conferences.
- Maintain compliance with IDEA, state, and district regulations regarding special education.
Job Details
- Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
- Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
- Caseload: Elementary, Middle, School options
Successful Candidates Possess
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education (required)
- An active or pending state licensure, or the ability to obtain (required)
- Autism Authorization
- Experience in a school setting
- The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor
