Remote Position - Reports to Social Media Manager Summary: Will support the development and execution of social media strategies, creating and distributing engaging content, managing online presence, and monitoring social media performance. Intern will assist specialists with tasks like crafting social media posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing analytics to improve campaign effectiveness, but not limited to social media. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Assist in developing and creating engaging content, including copy, pulling images/videos, and creating short form content for various social media platforms. Platform Management: Assist with social media accounts, which can include the scheduling of posts across all platforms and ensuring consistent brand messaging. Audience Engagement & Community Building: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms. Engage with followers, build relationships, and foster a positive online community. Research & Trend Analysis: Research current social media trends, best practices, and competitor activities. Campaign Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of social media campaigns. Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics, identify trends, and provide reports. Other Duties: May include assisting with other marketing tasks if needed. Skills and Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of social media marketing principles. Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, etc.). Proficiency in using social media management tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of video editing software. Interest in marketing and a passion for social media. Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the field.
