Immediate Opportunity: Safety Professional – Indianapolis

YDE Safety has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Construction Safety Professional to support one of the most exciting projects we’ve ever partnered on. This is not just another assignment. It’s a chance to be part of a historic project under a General Contractor that truly prioritizes safety in the field.

Why This Role Matters:

• You’ll work alongside one of the most skilled crane operators in the industry.
• You’ll help oversee a masonry subcontractor crew (10–15 workers) on the top floors of the project, ensuring they return home safe every day.
• You’ll contribute to a safety culture where accountability and excellence are the standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily safety compliance for masonry crews working from swing stages at elevated heights.
• Ensure proper use and inspection of fall protection systems, lifelines, and swing stage equipment.
• Oversee crane operations affecting the crew, coordinating with the operator to maintain safe load movements overhead and near the work platform.
• Conduct daily hazard assessments and pre-task safety briefings.
• Assist with compliance of OSHA and site-specific safety requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and corrective actions as required by YDE Safety and the GC.
• Serve as the first point of contact for safety concerns and immediately address unsafe conditions.

Details:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Duration: Short-term (5–7 weeks)
• Location: Indianapolis (must be local — no relocation available)
• Ideal Candidate: Safety professional with 3–5 years of field experience in construction safety.

Background in masonry, swing stage work, or crane coordination is strongly preferred. Perfect for someone between assignments, semi-retired, or looking to stay sharp while making a real impact.
