Able Saw in Prescott, AZ is looking for a shop assistant to join our team. We are an Elite dealer of Outdoor Power Equipment and provide Sales and Service. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain clean, safe and well-organized shop and storage areas at all times
• Assist with loading and offloading customer equipment
• Retrieve equipment to be repaired in storage areas and bring into shop
• Pick up parts from various local retailers
• Learn the effective and safe use and the proper care of the tools, equipment and materials used in the shop
• May assist the lead mechanic with repair of equipment
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Good organization skills
• Effective oral communication required
• Good with numbers and attention to details
• Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
• Basic knowledge of small engine repair is a plus
• Ability to withstand constant moderate noise levels associated with the shop environment
• Moderate exposure to oils, grease, gasoline, fumes, toxic and/or caustic chemicals, and pesticides, mechanical and electrical hazards
• Must be able to work in a variety of work environments including cold, hot, wet and dusty conditions

Pay dependent on experience. Will train the right person.
