POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Mechanic to assist with the installation and fabrication of ductwork on a new commercial and industrial construction site. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HVAC duct systems and sheet metal work, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fabricate, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal components for HVAC systems including ductwork and flashing
• Install prefabricated ducts and fittings according to mechanical plans and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to determine material requirements and layout
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as shears, brakes, and welding tools
• Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and safety standards
• Secure and seal ductwork using appropriate materials and methods
• Work in varied environments including at heights and in confined spaces
• Adhere to all OSHA guidelines and site-specific safety protocols

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sheet metal installation
• 1–3 years of HVAC ductwork experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and weld symbols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Hourly Pay: $25-$30 (based on experience)
• Per Diem: $95
• Weekly Pay
