Server Assistant (Busser / Runner)

We seek enthusiastic and experienced food & beverage champions to join our team at a stunning new lobby restaurant featuring coastal Italian cuisine.

Overview: Join our team at L'Ermitage's vibrant new restaurant as a Server Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about hospitality and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist servers in providing attentive and efficient service to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Set up and maintain the dining areas, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Clear tables and reset them promptly, ensuring that used dishes, utensils, and glassware are removed.
  • Refill beverages and assist in delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
  • Monitor and anticipate guest needs to provide proactive service and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in handling cash and credit transactions accurately, when needed.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and hotel policies to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a busser, server assistant, or in a similar role within a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Maintain and execute 5-star Forbes and 5 Diamonds AAA standards.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
