Automotive Service Valet/Porter – Celebrity Ford of Toms River

Celebrity Ford of Toms River , a dealership of Celebrity Auto Group , is currently looking for a Service Valet . We are searching for individuals who are hardworking, friendly and enjoy interacting with people. Our Service Valet is the key to our customer having the best experience possible!

The ideal candidate for this position must have a high energy level, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. He or she must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service. As a Service Valet/Porter you will be responsible for taking care of vehicles and customers in service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers dropping off vehicles for repairs.
• Record vehicle information and mileage.
• Retrieve and deliver loaner vehicles to customers.
• Sanitize loaner and customer vehicles before presenting to the customer.
• Help maintain dealership lot appearance.
• Install disposable covers and floor mats in vehicle interiors being serviced.
• Maintain internal and external appearance and cleanliness of the service department.
• Attention to detail.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Positive “can do” attitude.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
• Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Exemplary work ethic
• Neat, clean and professional appearance
• Effective interpersonal communication skills with ability to interact with customers, vendors and staff.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Pre employment drug screen required.
