Senior Staff Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Staff Finance Manager to join our dynamic finance team. Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function for a Business Unit (BU), including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Partner with Marketing and Engineering teams to align financial strategies with business goals and drive cross-functional collaboration. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

What You Can Expect

• Lead the FP&A function for BU, including strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Partner with Marketing and Engineering teams to align financial strategies with business goals and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to drive business performance.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and optimize financial performance.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing a team.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience in business partnering with cross-functional teams, particularly in Marketing and Engineering.
• Proven track record of driving financial performance and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-pressure setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on developing and mentoring talent.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

128,900 - 190,700, $ per annum. The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
