Senior Software Engineer (React / TypeScript) - Contract to Hire - Onsite in Midtown Atlanta

Optomi, in partnership with a Fortune 500 fintech company, is looking for Mid and Senior level Software Engineers to join a team in building features for their next-generation Point-of-Sale transformation initiative with one of their premier retail clients. The system—currently in early rollout—is designed to modernize the in-store cashier experience across large retailers. You’ll help build a responsive, hardware-integrated interface, working heavily with React and TypeScript. There are multiple openings on this team looking to interview ASAP!

Experience of the right candidate:

• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript, Javascript, and React
• Experienced building REST APIs with Node.js or Spring Boot
• Experienced taking part in CI/CD processes

Environment: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Java 17, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, GCP, Jest, Cypress, Playwright

We will be putting a high emphasis on:

• Working on developing the UI with a focus on React
• Improving your cloud knowledge and CI/CD skills
• Developing Java and Node.js applications with Event-Driven Architecture
