A bit about us: Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Analyst to join its growing team.

- Conduct thorough cost accounting for all engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets, working closely with project managers to ensure financial efficiency and profitability.
- Perform detailed financial forecasting to predict project costs and potential financial risks.
- Carry out comprehensive financial analysis to assess project performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support strategic decision-making and project planning.
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
- Collaborate with other accounting and finance team members to streamline financial processes and improve financial reporting.
- Provide financial expertise and guidance to project teams, helping to drive financial efficiency and profitability.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing clear and accurate financial insights and recommendations.
Job Details Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
- Experience with account reconciliation and general ledger management.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent numerical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
