Position Overview:

As the Security Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the full lifecycle of Department of Defense (DoD) DD254 Contract Security Classification Specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and agency security protocols.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Log, track, and maintain records of all received subcontractor DD254s, including current, legacy, and archived documents.
  • Assist with the resolution of open security violations and contribute to corrective action processes.
  • Support National Contractor Classification System (NCCS) implementation, including rewriting reference documentation and maintaining historical records.
  • Provide direct assistance to CORs, COs, and government staff in filing and processing DD254s.
  • Advise on proper handling and protocols for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) materials.
  • Properly handle security-related inquiries from internal stakeholders, prime contractors, subcontractors, and outside agencies.
  • Proofread and review DD254s and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance with DoD policy, regulations, and security directives.
  • Utilize applicable security guidance, including DFARS, DoD Instructions, Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs), Executive Orders (EOs), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and DoD Manuals.
  • Coordinate with Industrial Security team members to document DD254 review progress and maintain consistent communication.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project.
  • BS/BA
  • Works independently or leads sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Some travel may be required
  • Active Secret Clearance

  • MDA experience preferred
