Search Engine Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist to manage, optimize, and scale our paid search and performance marketing campaigns. In this role, you'll drive high-intent traffic, improve ROAs, support product launches, and help accelerate growth across ROKA's product line. You will work closely with our marketing, ecommerce, and creative teams to build, test, and refine strategies that fuel performance and revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day management of SEM campaigns across Google Ads, Bing, and other paid search platforms - including campaign structure, bid management, budget allocation, ad trafficking and performance optimization
  • Monitor performance daily and adjust bids, budgets, placements, and audiences to drive efficiency
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, identifying key trends and areas for improvement
  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis tailored to ROKA's product portfolio
  • Support SEO initiatives and ensure paid and organic search strategies work together effectively
  • Implement structured testing frameworks (keywords, landing pages, bidding strategies)
  • Identify new opportunities to improve campaign performance without sacrificing efficiency
  • Support product launches and promotions through tailored SEM strategies and track performance

Must Haves:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on SEM experience at Direct to Consumer or E-commerce company
  • Strong proficiency with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, GA4, and Google Merchant Center
  • Experience optimizing Shopping campaigns and product feeds in a Direct to Consumer environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive recommendations
  • Experience with audience segmentation and customer data platforms a plus
  • Experience with ChatGPT ads or other emerging AI chat advertising platforms a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

ROKA is located in Austin, TX, USA. The Company is on a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be prepared to work on-site as often as needed per the Department's business needs. Remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
