Pay Scale: $70, 054 – $85, 467 (Dependent on Experience)
What You'll Do:
∙ We have a contract position opening for a talented Scientist 1 to join our Biochemical and
Cellular Pharmacology (BCP) Department within company’s Research and Early Development (gRED) organization.
∙ This is a hands-on, laboratory-based position.
∙ The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for developing, validating and
executing innovative biochemical and cellular assays to support small molecule drug discovery projects.
∙ The candidate will work closely with BCP Scientists and may collaborate with other
functional areas including Structural Biology, Chemistry and Cheminformatics
What We're Looking For:
∙ Completed MS in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field, with
1-2 years of wet-lab experience in academia or biotechnology
∙ Experience with mammalian cell culture and biochemical assays
∙ Excellent teamwork, communication, time management, and organizational skills
∙ Experience with cell based fluorescent and luminescent assays
∙ Experience with recombinant protein /protein interaction assays is a plus
