World Class Customer Service Uncompromising Quality Family Feel/Professionally Run We are looking for a self-driven individual to fill our Regulatory Supervisor role for our food solutions division. They work functionally across the business to ensure product safety and the quality of all products. This position will ensure regulatory compliance with regulatory bodies, customers and all QualiTech locations. Focus will be on assisting in product safety, product quality and cost reduction projects. This position requires a working knowledge of the following: Microsoft Word and Excel, and strong knowledge of Quali-Tech's products. The Regulatory Supervisor is responsible for performing all work within established Quality Assurance and corporate safety guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Supplier and Ingredient approval program
  • Maintain supplier documentation through TraceGains
  • Maintain Customer Documentation program
  • Maintain ERP Formulation set up and changes
  • Maintain Change control (formula, label and specifications)
  • Maintain regulatory programs and documentation
  • Drive process improvement
  • Assist with registration documentation
  • Assist with food safety and quality needs
  • Manage and maintain regulatory reporting
  • Lend technical support to R & D, sales and business unit managers
  • Assist in compliance with all appropriate third-party audits such as Safe Food/Safe Feed, SQF and BRC
  • Assist in traceability exercises
  • Supervise the activities of the FSQA Document Specialists
  • Maintain food safety culture about food defense, quality and cGMPs for production and warehousing of products
Education and Experience :
  • High School Diploma or GED required and 3 years' experience in Food Regulatory and Food Safety/Quality Assurance in a similar industry; Secondary education in a science related field preferred.
  • A background in the food industry/manufacturing environments is desired.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information and respond to questions from customers, managers or the public
  • Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail, time management and prioritization to achieve results
  • Experience in writing reports, procedures, instructions and/or processes.
  • Ability to accommodate flexibility in the work schedule
