Job Description
No prior experience required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Answer questions regarding the waterpark and provide accurate information to visitors and callers
- Take messages and direct calls to the proper department
- Communicate with other departments via various communication means
- Complete office tasks, including making copies, laminating, and other administrative tasks
- Receive payment by cash, credit cards, and gift cards
- Good cash-handling skills
- Maintain a clean and organized office area
- Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
- Support the the coordination of Junior Lifeguard Camp registrations
- Follow Park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- General knowledge of office equipment: phone, copier, laminator, and shredder preferred
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Comfortable on the phone and knowledge of phone etiquette and phone systems
- Approachable, outgoing, and excited about suggestive selling
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Good listening skills
- A clear speaking voice
- Ability to count money and make change
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to talk and hear, both in person and by telephone
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances frequently
We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date.
