Job Title: Receptionist – Contract-to-Hire

Location: Tempe, AZ

Compensation: $20 – $25 / Hour

Industry: Construction

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred (open to entry-level candidates with strong interpersonal skills)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist on behalf of our client in the construction industry. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors, handling incoming calls, and providing administrative support to multiple departments. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, approachable, and capable of managing shifting priorities while creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in all visitors with a professional, welcoming approach
  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk and reception area
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages
  • Coordinate meeting room setups and refreshments for events
  • Order and maintain office and breakroom supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, copying, filing, and data entry
  • Support various departments with document handling and follow-up tasks
  • Track and process internal forms requiring signatures
