Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and fully licensed  Propane & Natural Gas Technician with tank setter license to join our expanding service team. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to advance their skills in a fast-paced environment that values safety, innovation, and teamwork.
Duties

  • Be responsible for the safe installation of propane tanks, appliances and appliance service (including residential and commercial).
  • Follow all safety protocols related to gas operations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system inspections, repairs performed, and safety checks. Strong attention to detail is a must.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on pipelines, valves, meters, and other gas equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures using specialized tools and techniques, including equipment repair and heavy equipment operation.
  • Operate machinery such as excavators safely to support installation, maintenance, or repair projects.
  • Conduct system tests on propane gas piping and equipment to identify leaks or irregularities; implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Support emergency response procedures by quickly assessing issues and communicating with team members or emergency responders when necessary.
  • Engage in continuous learning about new technologies such as distributed control systems (DCS) or advanced equipment repair techniques to enhance operational capabilities.

Experience

  • PROPANE & NATURAL GAS TECHNICIAN License including Tank setter
  • Proven experience working as a Gas Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience involving residential, commercial and industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with gas piping systems, including installation, inspection, and maintenance procedures.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts in a safe manner is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements, calibrations, or system troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks involving heavy lifting regularly.
