Job Description

Program Manager, Risk Appetite, US Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Programs is accountable for supporting the Senior Program Director, Risk Appetite and Metrics, US ERM Programs in the development and ongoing implementation of program requirements. Responsibilities include supporting the Chief Risk Officer and Board of Directors in articulating and monitoring Risk Appetite through Risk Appetite Statements, ongoing breach escalations, and management of associated action plans; advising businesses on risk measurement and methodologies for designing and selecting metrics tailored to local strategy as well as risk capacity and constraints; analyzing and implementing Key Risk Indicators (KRI) and related Management Information Systems (MIS) to track and report KRIs; preparing presentations and reports for senior management and boards; analyzing and enhancing existing reports and designing new reports and MIS supporting integrated risk reporting; ensuring ongoing region-wide compliance with the US Risk Appetite Framework and monitoring of RAS metrics; managing data quality and facilitating documentation, enhancement, and refinement of regional risk appetite statements aligned with the Parent Bank and regulatory expectations; advising other risk functions and business lines in the design and documentation of new and existing metrics; championing and facilitating the evolution of data and reporting systems; identifying and leveraging external industry data sources; analyzing and recommending system and process changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of KRI calculation and reporting; analyzing requirements for risk reporting to design new or modified risk reports; participating in creation of new data sources or platforms; updating and maintaining department policies and procedural documentation; maintaining recordkeeping and filing systems to respond efficiently to exam and audit requests. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with 1-3 days on-site and other days remote.
