Product Manager – Commercial & Industrial Lighting

About Us

Litetronics is a leading provider of high-performance commercial and industrial LED lighting solutions. Our products power warehouses, manufacturing facilities, retail spaces, healthcare environments, and outdoor applications. With a reputation for durability, innovation, and energy efficiency, we deliver solutions that help our customers reduce costs and improve performance.

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Product Manager with at least 3 years of B2B experience managing physical products—from concept through end-of-life. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in industrial, electrical, or commercial products, preferably within lighting or related sectors. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical acumen, market insight, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet both customer needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Market Insight

  • Own the product roadmap for assigned categories, from ideation to end-of-life.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable product requirements and specifications.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

  • Lead new product development projects, coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring timely launches, cost-effective manufacturing, and strategic phase-outs.
  • Manage portfolio performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize profitability.

Cross-Functional & Customer Engagement

  • Partner with sales and marketing to create compelling product positioning, messaging, and launch plans.
  • Support the sales team with training, product knowledge, and technical expertise.
  • Engage directly with distributors, contractors, and specifiers to gather market intelligence and build product advocacy.

Pricing, Tariffs & Profitability

  • Develop and maintain competitive pricing strategies that account for cost structures, market demand, and tariff impacts.
  • Monitor market conditions and adjust as needed to maintain competitiveness and margins.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of B2B product management experience with physical products—lighting, electrical, industrial, or related sectors strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing full product lifecycle from inception through end-of-life.
  • Technical understanding of product design, manufacturing processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, trade shows, and supplier visits.

Why Join Litetronics?

  • Work for a company with patented technology and a strong competitive advantage in the lighting industry.
  • Directly impact product strategy and innovation.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and growth opportunities within a nimble, entrepreneurial environment.
