PROBATION OFFICER VACANCY

The U.S. Probation Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky is accepting applications for a full-time Probation Officer. The position will be located in the Lexington office ( Vacancy Number 2025-08).

Salary range is CL-23 Step 1 ($46,621) to CL-28 Step 61 ($115,213) depending upon qualifications and specialized experience.

Applicants must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and be a United States citizen or eligible to work in the United States.


• First-time appointees to positions covered under federal law enforcement retirement provisions must not have reached their 37 th birthday at the time of appointment.
