Position Overview: The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient and safe prescription filling, managing staff, and upholding regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare, demonstrate strong leadership qualities, and be ready to foster growth within the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient processes and a high level of service.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage and mentor pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel, fostering a cohesive team environment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations are compliant with state and federal regulations, maintaining proper records and audits.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels, proper storage, and minimizing waste.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary contact for customer complaints and feedback, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Oversee pharmacy finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing sales performance.
  • Continuing Education: Promote and participate in professional development opportunities, staying current with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • PharmD degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Current license to practice Pharmacy.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, with prior managerial experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in pharmacy software and technology.
  • Skills Required: Communication skills, leadership, retail sales, marketing, merchandising and employee relations.
