Job Description
Job Title: Patient Care Technician
Location: New York, NY
Shift: Mon–Fri (Morning, Evening, and Night shift)
Duration: 3 months with a strong possibility of extension
Pay range: $21-23/hr.
Duties:
· Takes vital signs, collects and prepares specimens, performs vision and hearing tests, urinalysis, and provides basic and emergency first aid.
· Instruct patients on specimen collection, conduct basic screenings like dipstick and hemoccult, and prepare specimens for lab pickup.
· Prepares patients and exam rooms, assists medical providers during examinations, and sterilizes instruments and equipment.
· Interviews patients for medical history, informs them about test preparations, answers routine inquiries, and educates them on health services.
Requirements:
· BLS from AHA required
· High School Graduate or GED required
