We are hiring a Part-Time Weekend Forklift Loader for our distribution center in Romeoville, IL, starting at $19.50/hour . The shifts are on Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Additional shirts are available up to 32 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday are required.

Job Description

This position facilitates the movement of goods utilizing a sit-down forklift and RF scanner from the staging area to outbound trailers. 

• Daily inspection of Material Handling Equipment using RF and paper
• Performs Outbound function adhering to standard operating procedures
• Inspect each pallet and product for damage before loading to ensure customer satisfaction
• Utilizes RF Scanner to move goods from Staging to Outbound Mode of Transportation
• Able to stand, bend, stretch, squat up to 9 hours per day
• Lift up to 65 pounds
• Read and understand training and shipment paperwork
• Performs general housekeeping in the warehouse
• Be willing to be out in the elements to perform duties
• Performs other department duties as assigned
• Efficient at operating a propane sit-down forklift

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately wrap, stage, and load shipments within the required time
• Ability to meet efficiency requirements by function
• Working knowledge of RF Scanners / WMS
• Able to work in outdoor conditions
• Saturday & Sunday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
