A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Full-Time Overnight Forklift Operator in Columbus, NE!

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Production Support team member for our 3rd shift. This role is responsible for safely supplying and removing materials to and from the production area, maintaining product identity, traceability, and material status, while assisting in functional areas of the Warehouse Department. This position requires compliance with our quality systems, policies, procedures, and all safety regulations. Regular and punctual attendance is essential. Candidates must be able to read, write, and converse in English, and uphold our core values.

• The pay for this position is $22.70/hr
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Overnight Forklift Operator Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position Monday – Friday, 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM

Overnight Forklift Operator Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate product identification, traceability, and material status.
• Transfer products in and out of the warehouse rack system.
• Transport raw, in-process, or finished goods materials to and from production areas, including rejected/questionable materials, experimental, and validation materials.
• Safely transport hazardous materials.
• Recycle/remove waste as needed and report damaged materials.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and legible records.
• Conduct SAP/MES transactions.
• Safely operate electric forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), electric pallet jacks, slip sheeting equipment, and material tuggers.
• Achieve and maintain forklift certification.
• Perform other duties as required to support business needs.

Overnight Forklift Operator Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma/GED preferred
• If no High School diploma/GED, minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience required

Experience:

• 1+ year of previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift experience required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
• Effective oral and written communication
• Self-driven with independent thinking
• Strong decision-making skills
