Open-Source Intelligence Analyst

We have an upcoming opportunity to support the United States Central Command's Directorate of Intelligence (USCENTCOM J2) with strategic and tactical all-source intelligence analysis support. In this exciting opportunity you will conduct responsive, efficient, and reliable analysis and production to satisfy USCENTCOM's primary lines of effort. This will include analytical requirements focused on counterterrorism, counter insurgency, regional and transregional issues, energy, socio-cultural, and/or assisting with collection methodology. Help assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that help protect the Department of Defense and advance USCENTCOM J2's priorities in the Middle East.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in collecting, processing, exploiting, and disseminating intelligence information to support USCENTCOM priorities.
  • Meet time-sensitive, ad hoc, and routine internal and external requests for information requiring Open Source collection and reporting.
  • Create quality, focused, and relevant Open Source Warning Intelligence Reports and Open Source Intelligence Reports.
  • Engage with collection managers to ensure Open Source requirements are submitted into the current Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination system.
  • Support the fielding, development, and sustainment of USCENTCOM J2 Open Source tools and technologies.
  • Effectively engage with clients and partners as it relates to the satisfaction of intelligence requirements through Open Source collection.
  • Comply with the provisions of all applicable and current National, DOD, Agency, USCENTCOM, and Directorate Open Source policies and instructions.
  • Support the development, updating, and promulgation of Open Source policy for all components and elements operating in theater.
  • Demonstrate and apply understanding of various Open Source collection platforms and tradecraft, explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources.
  • This position requires the flexibility to support shifts on a 24/7 watch rotation to the Command Joint Operations Center during routine and crisis operations requiring surge support.

Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Senior-Level: Relevant specialized training and Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience, or 14 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Mid-Level: Relevant specialized training and 5 years of experience
  • Junior-Level: Relevant specialized training and 3 years of experience
  • Experience using OSINT tools to collect, process, exploit, and disseminate intelligence information
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • ODNI's Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Qualification (IFPC)
  • PACE
  • Knowledge of USCENTCOM and DIA product lines
  • All-Source or OSINT Analysis experience focused on the USCENTCOM AOR
  • Deployment experience in the USCENTCOM AOR
