About Us
Sigma Pain Clinic is a physician-led, family-friendly practice with two modern offices in the San Antonio area (Loop 1604 at NW Military Hwy and Toepperwein St. in Live Oak, near IKEA). Our growing team of fellowship-trained pain physicians and mid-level providers delivers interventional procedures, medication management, and telemedicine care in a supportive, upbeat environment.

Position Highlights

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

No weekends, no call, no after-hours triage

  • Locations: Work primarily at one of our two clinics; limited rotation as needed
  • Compensation: Base salary $110,000 – $150,000 annually plus significant bonuses
  • Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete
  • EMR: Athena with customized templates to streamline documentation
  • Patient Mix: Follow-up visits, medication management, imaging review, treatment planning, occasional telemedicine; no new consults required

What You’ll Do

  • Provide follow-up care for chronic and acute pain patients under physician supervision
  • Perform focused histories/physicals, order and interpret imaging/labs, and adjust treatment plans
  • Educate patients on procedure options (ESIs, medial branch blocks, RFA, etc.) and coordinate scheduling
  • Complete thorough documentation and e-prescribing within Athena
  • Collaborate closely with our pain specialists and nursing team; extensive one-on-one training provided

Qualifications

  • Active Texas NP (APRN) or PA license (or eligibility)
  • Current DEA registration (or eligibility)
  • New graduates welcome—no prior pain management experience required
  • Comfort with EMR use and commitment to detailed documentation
  • Passion for patient-centered care and willingness to learn interventional pain protocols
