Schedule: + Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PM + Wednesday, Friday: 7:30 AM 12:30 PM
We are seeking an entry-level, Medical Receptionist to join a busy physical therapy clinic. This role is critical to ensuring smooth patient flow and exceptional customer service. You will be the first point of contact for patients, managing check-in/check-out processes, scheduling follow-up appointments, and handling inquiries both in person and over the phone.
Must-Have: Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred). Strong communication skills (email and phone). Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have: Healthcare experience (highly preferred). Knowledge of patient registration, scheduling, and insurance processes.
Minimum Requirements: 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a front desk or administrative role.
Collaborative team environment with supportive staff. Free parking available; metro access possible but less convenient. Opportunity to transition to a permanent role after the contract period.
Virtual interview followed by an in-person meeting with clinic leadership. Interviews can be scheduled throughout the holiday season. Target start date: December 22, 2025.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, MD.
