Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Receive in material and supply shipments.
- Verify received quantities and receive in system.
- Clean, organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas.
- Perform regular inspections on warehouse equipment.
- Count inventory quantities and report re-order points for supplies.
- Utilize safe work habits and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate Supervisor.
- Wear appropriate PPE when in required areas.
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS - 1+ years of Shipping, Receiving, and/ or Inventory experience
- Forklift experience preferred but not required.
- Three years of verifiable work history preferred.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required.
- Ability to learn material types and names.
- Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations.
- Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures.
- Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, and Push, Pull for 10 - 12 hours daily.
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) for 10 - 12 hours daily.
- Ability to adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties as required.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification through NOV's HSE approved forklift certification course.
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
