As a Material Handler, you’ll move finished materials throughout the warehouse and transfer steel coils between departments using forklifts and overhead cranes. It’s active, fast-paced work with solid pay, steady hours, and room to grow. Pay: Receive starting pay of $22/hr , quarterly bonuses, profit sharing, and a $2,000 hiring bonus after 90 days

Schedule : This is a DAY shift opening! You would work every Wednesday & Thursday and every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 5 am to 5pm, 12 hour shifts.

Position Specifics:

• Location: Charter Steel – Saukville: 1658 Cold Springs Road, Saukville, WI

• Shift: Days! On our C-shift you work 5am to 5pm on our 5-2-2-5 schedule (5 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 5 days off)

What you'll need :

• A   high school diploma or GED  (we can help through the GEDWorks program).
• Forklift experience  – you know how to handle one safely.
• Able to   use a scanner   for tracking and inventory.
• Comfortable with   basic math  (like counting and simple calculations).
• Can   communicate clearly   with team members.
• A   team player   who works well with others.
• Can   follow directions   and also help guide others when needed.
• Good at   solving simple problems   on the job.

Nice to haves:

• Some   manufacturing experience  – you’ve worked in a factory, warehouse or similar setting before.
• Safety training  – you know how to stay safe and follow safety rules on the job.
