About the Opportunity:

A luxury fashion house is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead its Washington, D.C. boutique. This role is ideal for a driven, client-focused leader with a strong background in luxury retail. The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of store performance, team leadership, and client engagement to deliver a high-touch retail experience.

This role is salary + bonus eligible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example on the sales floor, developing meaningful client relationships and cultivating loyalty
  • Drive store sales, KPIs, and profitability through data-driven decision making
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team with a focus on service and results
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence
  • Maintain operational standards including inventory, reporting, and daily procedures
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies that align with brand vision

Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of retail management experience in luxury or premium environments
  • Proven ability to exceed sales targets and lead a team to high performance
  • Deep understanding of clienteling and luxury service standards
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in POS, CRM, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
