WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) professional for a contract assignment at a renowned hospital in Buffalo, NY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing top-tier patient care and collaborating with a skilled medical team.

Job Function:

\n

• Night Shift.
\n
• 7pm-7:30am.
\n

• Prepares, administers (orally, subcutaneously, or via IV), and accurately records prescribed respiratory treatments and medications.

  \n
\n

• Reports any adverse reactions to treatments or therapies in compliance with respiratory care policies and protocols.

  \n
\n

• Educates patients about respiratory treatments and procedures to ensure understanding and proper care.

  \n
\n

• Documents patients' respiratory status, vital signs, and treatment outcomes with precision.

  \n
\n

• Monitors and adjusts respiratory equipment, interpreting and recording electronic displays to ensure optimal patient care.

\n

\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• 2 years of recent experience as a RRT.

  \n
\n

• Current NY State RN license.

  \n
\n

• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

  \n
\n

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or BSN.

  \n
\n

• NIHSS Certified.

  \n
\n

\n

\n
