WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in East Orange, New Jersey.

Our client is seeking a Telemetry RN for a fast-paced role at a Medical Center in East Orange, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience while working with patients in critical condition who require continuous monitoring and care.

Job Function

\n

• Night Shift.
\n
• 7PM - 7AM.
\n

• Performs comprehensive assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs.

  \n
\n

• Identifies and addresses nursing and discharge needs; evaluates and adjusts care plans as needed.

  \n
\n

• Accurately transcribes and carries out physician orders; administers medications following the 5 “rights”.

  \n
\n

• Initiates and manages IV therapy; prioritizes and manages time effectively.

  \n
\n

• Coordinates patient care across departments (e.g., lab, radiology) and with Case Managers to support efficient discharge and continuity of care.

\n

Job Requirements

\n

• 2 year or more experience, in an acute care setting preferred.
\n
• Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
\n
• Current Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of NJ.
\n
• Certifications required: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support preferred.
