Labor & Employment Litigation Counsel – Los Angeles

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 200 law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Counsel to join its Employment & Labor practice in Los Angeles. This is an exciting opportunity to handle complex litigation matters, represent sophisticated clients, and work alongside a collaborative team of attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse litigation caseload independently, from inception to resolution
• Represent clients in a broad range of employment and labor law matters
• Handle wage & hour class actions, PAGA representative claims, and single-plaintiff disputes, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination
• Conduct depositions, draft pleadings and motions, and appear in court
• Collaborate with colleagues and provide clients with timely, strategic updates

Qualifications

• JD degree from an ABA- accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in California
• 6+ years of employment litigation experience, particularly wage & hour class actions and PAGA matters
• Trial experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to manage cases proactively and work effectively in a team environment
