Job Description: Junior IT Project Coordinator
This is a Part Time position offering 20-30 hours a week with a flexible on-site schedule.
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Project Coordinator to support our IT project management team. This entry-level role provides the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects. You'll assist in coordinating tasks, update stakeholders, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while developing the essential skills needed for advancement in IT project management.
Responsibilities:
Assist in Project Planning: Help develop project schedules, milestones, and deliverables in coordination with project managers and stakeholders
Monitor Progress: Track tasks, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure projects stay on schedule
Facilitate Communication: Act as a liaison between IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding project updates, risks, and goals
Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including timelines, budgets, and action items, and assist with report generation
Problem-Solving: Identify project risks and work collaboratively to address issues as they arise .
Administrative Support: Provide additional administrative support to project managers, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and organizing information sources
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with project management software tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello is a plus.
