Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the Entertainment Industry, is seeking a JIRA Project Manager / Administrator to join their team. This role will support the organization as it scales and adapts JIRA across projects. The right candidate will bring hands-on JIRA expertise combined with Agile project management experience to ensure the system effectively supports workflows and project goals.

Experience of the Right Candidate

  • Proven experience as a JIRA Administrator with extensive usage as a Project Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
  • Hands-on configuration and administration of JIRA (Server and Cloud).
  • Proficiency in writing JQL queries across multiple projects.
  • Confluence site and page administration, including user/group access control.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with JIRA plugins and integrations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: prior experience in large-scale enterprise environments and exposure to FinTech or consumer digital platforms.

Responsibilities of the Right Candidate

  • Govern and configure JIRA projects, workflows, and custom fields to support project requirements.
  • Provide user support and training for JIRA users, including troubleshooting and maintaining user guides.
  • Partner with project managers and teams to gather requirements and enhance JIRA functionality.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for JIRA processes, workflows, and best practices.
  • Monitor JIRA usage and generate reports on project progress, team performance, and governance.
  • Stay current with JIRA updates, plugins, and new features to drive continuous improvement.
