Industrial Maintenance Mechanic 

2nd Shift

What You Will Be Doing:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose root causes for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems maintenance including examination of parts for defects.
• Follow diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s instructions for operation and troubleshooting equipment,
• Recording repairs and maintenance performed, parts and materials used, requisition new parts and materials as well assist in inventory of replacement parts and supplies for inventory levels
• Using various common hand and power tools, such as drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments, and electronic testing devices

Skills You Bring:

• Commitment to safe work practices
• Working knowledge of three phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces, PLC’s, VFD’s.
• Familiar with NEC, NFPA 70E and OSHA standards
• Full knowledge of three phase 480 volt equipment
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints
• Basic Electronics knowledge.
• Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
• Plan, assemble, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical fixtures and wiring
• Must have working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting
• Knowledge of maintenance hand tools
• Able to use tools including hand tools, powered tools, diagnostic tools and computer programs
• Test and repair water distribution, and compressed air systems
• Able to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
• Able to operate a forklift truck
• Basic computer and e-mail skills
