Position Overview:

Blue Crow Sports Group is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Individual Development

Coach to join the technical staff of its Elite Africa Football Program, working directly with

players aged 16–18. This coach will play a vital role in enhancing each player's technical,

tactical, and positional understanding to prepare them for elite-level football.

The role requires close collaboration with the Head Coach and performance team to ensure a

personalised and high-impact development approach for every player in the program.

Key Responsibilities:

Individual Player Development

• Design and deliver personalised technical and positional development plans based on
• player needs, position, and performance data.
• Conduct regular one-on-one and small-group technical sessions focusing on areas
• such as ball mastery, first touch, decision-making, movement, and positional
• awareness.
• Track individual progress through video analysis, data feedback, and performance
• assessments.

On-Field Coaching Support

• Assist the Head Coach during team training sessions with a focus on implementing
• individual learning objectives within collective frameworks.
• Identify opportunities during team sessions and matches for reinforcing individual
• technical and tactical improvements.
• Provide position-specific feedback based on match and training performance.

3 Analysis & Feedback

• Use video analysis and GPS/data tracking to monitor individual player development
• and adjust training objectives accordingly.
• Provide clear, constructive, and motivating feedback to players and collaborate with
• analysts and support staff to enhance player insight.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the Head Coach, fitness coaches, analysts, and medical staff to
• align individual programs with the broader team training cycle.
• Participate in technical staff meetings to report on player progression and contribute
• to team strategy.

Relocation & Presence

• Be based full-time in Africa for the duration of the program, with flexibility to travel
• as required.
• Build strong relationships with players, families, and local support staff to foster a
• positive and high-performance environment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• UEFA B License (minimum) – A License preferred.
• Strong background in technical player development, particularly with youth aged
• 15–19.
• Experience in elite academy or professional environments focused on individualised
• coaching.
• Deep understanding of player psychology, learning styles, and growth pathways.
• Excellent communication, observational, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with video and data tools (e.g., Hudl, Wyscout, GPS tracking, etc).
• Passion for youth development and a long-term mindset for player success.
• Willingness to relocate and live in Africa for the duration of the role.
