Job Title: Service Manager - Commercial HVAC

As our current Service Manager prepares for retirement after 40 years of dedicated service, we are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to lead our service department into the future.
Position Summary:
The Service Manager will oversee all aspects of our HVAC service operations, ensuring technical excellence, efficient scheduling, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This individual will provide leadership to a team of experienced union technicians while driving departmental growth and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of union HVAC technicians, promoting high performance and customer satisfaction.
Manage daily operations including dispatching, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
Oversee inventory control, parts ordering, and vendor/supplier relationships.
Prepare cost estimates and proposals for maintenance agreements and replacement projects.
Respond promptly to phone and email service requests and coordinate timely resolutions.
Identify opportunities to enhance service processes, expand client relationships, and grow the department.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong technical understanding of commercial HVAC systems.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with HVAC-related software for scheduling, dispatch, and operational management.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
