A Hospital in Los Angeles is looking to hire a HR Onboarding Specialist to join its. The HR Onboarding Specialist will play a key part in supporting the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance and a seamless experience for candidates and employees. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with HR professionals and contribute to the success of our Human Resources department.

 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule onboarding appointments for new team members, ensuring smooth integration into the organization.

• Oversee and monitor pre-employment background checks and references using third-party vendor systems.

• Process and manage new employee paperwork through digital platforms such as DocuSign and the onboarding portal.

• Conduct audits to verify the accuracy and compliance of new employee documentation prior to onboarding.

• Maintain personnel files for employees, ensuring proper documentation and retention of I-9 forms.

• Communicate with candidates throughout the pre- and post-offer stages to provide a positive onboarding experience.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address onboarding-related concerns and ensure timely resolutions.

• Assist with recruitment activities, including candidate engagement and benefits information dissemination.

• Process status changes for outsourced staff, such as transfers, promotions, and leaves of absence, while ensuring documentation accuracy.

• Support general HR operations by organizing files, responding to inquiries, and providing administrative assistance as needed.

• Proven experience in Human Resources administration, including recruitment and onboarding.
• Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and digital onboarding platforms.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing pre-employment background checks and reference verification.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in auditing and document management.
• Ability to engage with candidates and employees in a detail-oriented and respectful manner.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
• Familiarity with processing personnel transactions such as promotions, transfers, and status changes.
