The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Machinery Attendant to join the Housekeeping Team!

Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star property is consistently ranked among the world's best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining.

What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Machinery Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Scrub, buff, mop, extract, vacuum, wash, and dust all areas of hotel
  • Maintain cleanliness of walls, ceilings, floors, columns, and furniture.
  • Maintain all Housekeeping and guest areas by using appropriate equipment, machines, and supplies
  • Detail cleaning of ice machine rooms, woodwork in guestrooms, corridors and miscellaneous Housekeeping areas
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance duties for all equipment and machinery
  • Organizes and maintains inventory of machinery storage area
  • Completes special projects or other duties as assigned

*Available benefits may vary depending upon property-specific terms and conditions of employment and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement if applicable.

Pay Range: The hourly rate is $24.60 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Bonus Terms: $250 after 90 days, $250 after 180 days, $250 after 270 days, and $250 after 360 days.

New Team Member must be active in Housekeeping to receive bonus.

All bonuses and awards are considered supplemental income and are subject to federal, state and local taxes.
