A school district near Waterloo, Nebraska, is actively hiring dedicated High School Spanish Teachers for the current school year. Location: Near Waterloo, NE
Caseload/Population: High School students
Assignment Period: Full school year
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time
Subjects: Spanish (priority); possible roles in Math or Social Studies

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons
Encourage language proficiency and cultural appreciation
Utilize diverse instructional techniques to reach all learning styles
Assess and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the curriculum and student development
Participate in school-wide events, parent-teacher conferences, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Education or related field (with Spanish endorsement preferred)
Nebraska state teaching license with World Language/Spanish endorsement required
Classroom teaching experience is a plus
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage high school students in an inclusive learning environment
