What We Look For In a Tutor Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in High School English and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring experience, teaching experience, and graduate-level education. Compensation and Logistics Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour with the same student over time. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct and invoice. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. We handle the logistics—you just invoice for your tutoring sessions, and we take care of payments. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time. Ways To Connect With Students 1-on-1 Online Tutoring – Provide personalized instruction to individual students. Instant Tutoring – Accept on-demand tutoring requests when you’re available.
